Health Language Processing Center

Mission

To promote the design and deployment of health language processing solutions to biomedically-relevant goals of domain experts at Penn, CHOP, and Penn Medicine.

Description

Directed by Dr. Graciela Gonzalez-Hernandez, the Health Language Processing Center brings automatic language processing expertise and methods for the identification, extraction and integration of natural language from different sources (EMRs, literature, or Social Media, to name a few) for biomedical research at the University of Pennsylvania. The HLPC welcomes and facilitates collaborations that require domain-specific expertise in natural language processing for health-related applications.
